Welcome to the
Rahway Parking Authority

The Rahway Parking Authority welcomes you to Downtown Rahway. We are a very proud city with deep historical roots and a progressive attitude with the future always on our mind. Rahway is a city that was settled in 1666 on the banks of the Rahway River as a commercial hub for the state and has now transitioned to become a major commuter transportation hub for the state as the 4th largest train stop for NJ Transit. The City of Rahway and the RPA have a strong record of working with NJ Transit to assure that comfortable, affordable and state of the art facilities are made available to our commuters and citizens. The award winning Rahway train station and plaza coupled with the RPA state of the art Transportation Center Parking Garage are great examples of our community spirit and commitment. We look forward to the continuation of exciting redevelopment, the realization of nearly 800 new living units downtown, continued openings of new gourmet eateries, specialty shops and expansion of our RPA facilities.  Rahway is a citizen and commuter orientated community where  “We honor the past but embrace the future.”  Thank you for choosing Rahway and the RPA
Sincerely, The Commissioners of the Rahway Parking Authority
